Eligibility & Completion Requirements

To uphold the integrity and professionalism of the Chartered Director Certification (ChDC), the Institute has established the following eligibility requirements.

Candidates willing to be enrolled for the route must:

a) Be a Full Member or Fellow of the Institute

b) Successfully complete Stages I, II, and III of the ChDC:

  • Stages I and II consist of four (4) modules each and are assessed through examinations.
  • Candidates must pass each stage before progressing to the next.
c) Undertake Stage III, which involves application and assessment by the Interview Panel. This stage evaluates candidates based on practical boardroom and corporate governance experience. Only candidates who have passed Stages I and II are eligible.

Lecture time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. daily
Mode of Delivery: Live Virtual Classes
Stage I Class Duration: 6 Weeks
Revision Period: 1 Week
Examination Period: 1 Week
Stage I Fee: ₦1,000,000
Programme Registration Fee (Compulsory at stage 1): ₦100,000
