42nd Annual General Meeting

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 42nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria, will be held on Thursday, the 25th June 2026, at 11:00 a.m. prompt at Lagos Oriental Hotel, 3 Lekki – Epe Expressway, Victoria Island, Lagos State, to transact the following businesses:

Ordinary Business

  • To receive the Audited Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2025, and the Reports of the President, Auditors and the Statutory Audit Committee thereon.
  • To appoint Auditors for the new financial year.
  • To elect members of the Governing Council.

Proxy Information

A member of the Institute entitled to attend and vote at the Annual General Meeting is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote in his/her stead. A proxy need not a member of the Institute. For the appointment to be valid, a duly completed Proxy form should be deposited at the Director General’s office, CIoD Nigeria Secretariat, 28 Olawale Edun Street, Ikoyi Lagos, or sent via email to agm@ciodnigeria.org on or before Tuesday 23rd June 2026. A blank proxy form is attached to the Annual Report sent to all members.

All relevant documents in connection with the meeting are available to all members from the date of the Notice at the CIoD Nigeria Secretariat at the address above.

E-ANNUAL REPORTThe electronic version of the annual report (e-annual report) will be emailed to all members who have provided their email addresses to the CIoD Secretariat. Members who wish to receive the e-annual report are kindly requested to ensure that an updated email address is sent to membership@ciodnigeria.org or visit the CIoD Nigeria Membership Portal on erp.ciodnigeria.org to update their contact details. A copy of this Notice and other information relating to the meeting can be found at www.ciodnigeria.org.

LIVE STREAMING OF AGMThe AGM will be streamed live. This will enable members who will not be attending physically to follow the proceedings. The link for the AGM live streaming will be made available on www.ciodnigeria.org and sent to all registered financial members.
